My client, a well-respected Legal 500 law firm is looking for a Senior Residential Property Lawyer to join their Residential Property team in Reading.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage a caseload of files, dealing effectively with cases and transactions. The candidate will be expected to build credibility with clients and develop own client relationships through managing client expectations regarding options, outcomes, risks, and timescales.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Take responsibility for managing aspects of projects that are delegated and meet deadlines
  • Support juniors in the team by giving technical, business and general advice
  • Ensure a good flow of communication to senior lawyers but also more junior members of the team
  • Track progress against your own KPIs, meeting targets
  • Support with budgetary management of client matters
  • Grow internal and external networks of clients, intermediaries and contacts
  • Build on personal and department profile and reputation by attending networking events etc

About You

The successful Senior Residential Property Lawyer will;

  • Have previous experience managing a residential property caseload
  • Have the ability to manage own files and delegate work to others
  • Have strong client management skills with a focus on the delivery of excellent client service
