Our client, a leading law firm in North London is looking to recruit a Solicitor with up to 2 years PQE to join their Real Estate Dispute Resolution team. The candidate will provide a high-quality legal service to clients on all aspects of real estate dispute resolution in line with the firm's standards of performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a high-quality legal service to clients on all aspects of real estate dispute resolution including Disputes arising out of residential and commercial leases, Disputes arising out of the buying and selling of land, and Disputes arising out of encumbrances affecting land
  • Develop own technical knowledge and skills including the ability to analyse information and reach sound decisions
  • Communicate succinctly both orally and in writing
  • Research appropriate case law and technical and legal precedents to progress matters
  • Ensure you remain up to date professionally and technically by attaining and recording CPD, as well as developing knowledge of the marketplace and client base
  • Assist the team in its marketing and business development objectives, including activities such as attending client events, writing text/articles for the website and other publications, and assisting the Partners in organising marketing events
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to work

About You

The successful Real Estate Dispute Resolution will;

  • Have up to 2 years experience in this area of legal work which will be demonstrable through an awareness of relevant legislation and experience of and the ability to provide advice or consideration to relevant issues
  • Have experience working to targets and time recording
  • Have an awareness and demonstrable experience of involvement with business development activity.
  • Have demonstrable commitment to customer service including providing high standards of service to clients.
  • Have a commitment to the highest quality standards together with an eye for detail.
  • Have a flexible approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Be IT literate including proficient with Microsoft applications and self-sufficient in using document management systems and the internet as business tools.
