Role: Procurement SME

Type: Interim 10 months

Salary: £400 to £525 per day inside IR35

Hybrid, 1 day a week in the office

Location: South West

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Procurement SME for our Local Government client.

Reporting to the Procurement Lead, the Procurement SME will be responsible for ensuring that the SAP Ariba and S/4 HANA solutions are implemented and fully optimised across the organisation, alongside the end to end Procurement.

Key responsibilities for the Procurement SME are;

  • Experience of large-scale SAP Ariba implementations and transformation programmes
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba and working experience with SAP S4 HANA
  • Experience of Procurement, Contract and Tender Management
  • Able to discuss new Procurement Processes
  • Understanding of ERP Project Cycle
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile processes
  • Experience in Business Process Re-Engineering
  • Working with a variety of stakeholders.

The Ideal candidate for the Procurement SME will have;

  • CIPS or Equivalent Qualification
  • Recent Local Government Experience is Desirable
  • Knowledge of Procurement Legislation and Regulations
  • P2P Public Sector Spectrum Understanding.
