Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in Manchester who are looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Drafting wills, administering estates, and handling probate procedures after someone passes away.
Advising on and setting up trusts to manage assets for beneficiaries.
Helping clients plan for the distribution of their estate and minimize taxes.
Drafting documents for clients to appoint someone to make decisions on their behalf if they are unable to.
Offering advice on tax-saving strategies, such as inheritance tax planning.
Resolving disputes between family members over estates, wills, or trusts.
Assisting elderly clients with legal matters related to long-term care and managing their assets.
Advising on protecting assets, especially for those with significant wealth.
The successful candidate:
Experience with wills, trusts, business planning, inheritance tax, estate administration, and landed estates.
Strong at building relationships with clients, including wealthy individuals, families, elderly clients, and business owners.
Can work independently, manage your caseload, and supervise others when needed.
Ideally STEP qualified or working towards it.
