Private Client Associate Solicitor

We are currently working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in Bristol that is looking for a talented Private Client Solicitor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Private Client law professional to join an award-winning and supportive team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising clients on how to minimize taxes, especially inheritance tax, through estate and trust planning.

• Assisting in setting up and managing trusts, ensuring legal and tax compliance.

• Drafting wills, advising on estate distribution, and handling inheritance disputes.

• Building long-term relationships with clients, offering ongoing advice on tax and wealth management.

• Preparing legal documents like trust deeds, wills, and tax returns.

• Keeping up to date with changes in laws and regulations related to tax and estates.

• Guiding junior lawyers and helping in business development efforts for the firm.

The successful candidate:

• 2-5 years PQE with experience in the Private Client field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent at building client relationships and explaining legal matters clearly.
• Able to manage a diverse caseload independently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Business-minded with a proactive approach to development and growth.
• Flexible, solution-oriented, and strong at problem-solving.
• Committed to confidentiality and discretion, and adaptable to change.
