About the Housing Litigation Lawyer role:

Sellick Partnership is currently working with an ambitious Housing association in the Midlands that is seeking a Housing Litigation Lawyer on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid working with court attendance when required.

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who want to join an experienced, knowledgeable, and tight-knit team.

The successful candidate will have initiative, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a real commitment to the job and ideally have previous dealings within the Public sector.

The successful Housing Litigation Lawyer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Dealing with all aspects of contentious housing management including possession, anti-social behavior, and other tenancy and housing management issues, with an emphasis on disrepair matters.

  • Provide solid advice on all aspects of housing law and civil litigation

  • Support to the in-house legal team

  • Represent in county courts when needed

  • Drafting documents for injunctions and possession claims
