We are currently working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in High Wycombe that is looking for a talented Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Clinical Negligence law professional to join an expanding and supportive team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meet with clients to discuss their case and review medical records.
  • Investigate the case by gathering evidence and consulting medical experts.
  • Prepare legal documents like complaints and motions.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and other parties.
  • Represent clients in court if the case goes to trial.
  • Advise clients and keep them updated on their case.
  • Stay updated on laws related to clinical negligence.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

The successful candidate:

  • 3 - 4 years PQE with experience in handling or assisting with a clinical negligence caseload. Experience in handling personal injury claims is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent at building client relationships and explaining legal matters clearly.
  • Able to manage a diverse caseload independently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Business-minded with a proactive approach to development and growth.
  • Flexible, solution-oriented, and strong at problem-solving.
  • Be confident working with minimal supervision and be able to work well within a team.
