Locum Childcare Legal Assistant
North West
£20 - 25 per hour DOE
Hybrid Working
3-6 months +
Sellick Partnership are recruiting for a Childcare Legal Assistant to join a friendly and supportive local authority in the North West on a locum basis. The role is expected to last for 3- 6 months with the likelihood of extension.
As a Childcare Legal Assistant, you will provide support to the childcare team. Your duties will include a wide range of tasks, including typing, preparation of Court bundles, post duties, opening and closing files and administering the case management system.
Responsibilties include but are not limited to:
Ability to draft applications
Prepare bundles
File and serve
Keep timetables up to date
Indicate understanding of Data Protection Principles.
This role is full time and offers hybrid working with attendance in the office approximately 3 times per week, with the option to reduce office attendance once established. Applicants must be able to start work at short notice.
Experience within Childcare Law is necessary, and while public sector background is desirable, those from Private Practice backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
