Sellick Partnership are pleased to be working in partnership with well-respected local authority in the Midlands. We are supporting City of Lincoln Council with the recruitment for a Litigation Lawyer to join their legal services team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created post, you will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of litigation, licensing and prosecutions matters within the council.
About the Litigation Lawyer opportunity:
This role is well-suited to an individual with a litigation background, from either private practice or pubic sector. Ideally you will have previous experience conducting advocacy in court, and you are looking to build on the next step of your career and continue with your professional development within an established team.
The duties of the Litigation Lawyer role will include:
Advising on all aspects of litigation
Dealing with housing management cases, including; possession, disrepair, injunctions
Provision of legal advice and representation in relation to prosecutions matters
Representing the organisation at court
Liaising with external and internal stakeholders

Experience required:
Qualified as a Solicitor or Cilex qualified. We would be extremely interested in hearing from candidates with a private practice or public sector background. City of Lincoln are flexible with someone's previous experience as full training will be provided.
