Legal Services Manager

Sellick Partnership has partnered with our NHS client in the recruitment of an experienced Legal Services Manager to join their legal department on a fixed term contract. The initial duration will be 3 months with the possibility of extension.

The NHS Trust services a population of over 500,000 people across three sites including a teaching hospital. The role of Legal Services Manager will focus on the inquest work within the trust therefore playing a pivotal role within the legal department.

Acting Legal Services Manager, the successful applicant will be an expert on clinical negligence and other claims brought against the trust, inquest work, Court of Protection and general health law matters. Duties will also include management of a small legal team.

This is a hybrid working role with some on site attendance required including at inquests.

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Barrister qualified to practice in England and Wales. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate significant post qualification experience conducting inquests. Wider litigation and clinical negligence experience is also highly desirable.

Band 8C Salary £70,417 - £81,138
