£80,000 - £85,000 PRO RATA (dependent on experience)

Part-time Sole Legal Counsel is required to join a growing insurance company based in the East London area. Sellick Partnership is pleased to be working with a growing insurance company looking for a Commercial Solicitor to join them as their first legal hire on a part-time permanent basis 3 or 4 days a week.

This is an exciting time to join the business as it has significant growth plans due to it's success over the last few years. You will be working closely with the CFO and CEO, establishing the legal function within the business. You will work closely with both it's internal stakeholders whilst also managing the external outsourced insurance-specific work.

The insurance-specific legal work is outsourced to Private Practice; therefore, the successful Part-time Sole Legal Counsel will join the organisation to undertake more commercially focused contracts work.

Our client is looking for part-time candidates to work three or four days per week.

As the Part-time Sole Legal Counsel, your role will include, but is not limited to:

• Drafting, negotiating, and amending a variety of Commercial Contracts at varying complexities with a large scope of work
• Commercial work can vary from NDAs, IT Contracts (SAAS), framework and supplier agreements plus many more
• Opportunity to gain experience with M&A as the business will be acquiring
• Establish relationships and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
