Sellick Partnership are pleased to be working alongside a leading energy and services company in their search for a qualified Legal Counsel to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful Legal Counsel will be joining the division that specialises in providing refurbishment, housing services, and sustainable energy solutions to both public and private sector clients.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of a forward-thinking organisation, directly supporting its legal and business teams, as well as engaging with external stakeholders to deliver innovative and impactful projects.

The successful Legal Counsel will be able to benefit from a hybrid working arrangement, with the ideal candidate being able to attend the office in London once a week.

As a Legal Counsel, your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, particularly within construction and refurbishment
  • Provide practical and commercially focused legal advice on a wide range of projects
  • Support tenders, project governance, and ongoing operational matters
  • Work closely with business teams across the organisation, along with external legal counterparts

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, with experience in Construction Law, including a familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts. A background in public procurement would also be advantageous.
