About the Lead QA position:

Sellick Partnership is delighted to be supporting a long-standing client with the recruitment of a Lead QA to engage in an exciting new project. The Lead QA will be responsible for the QA function of the business. You will set direction when it comes to QA process, test scripting and automation process and ideally have knowledge of Playwright, Web UI automation and CI/CD pipeline.

Key responsibilities of the Lead QA role will include:

· The Lead QA is responsible for developing and delivering QA and process automation services using modern frameworks and practices.

· Working in an agile environment the Lead QA will be expected to work within a cross functional team and proactively drive continuous improvement in software, techniques and processes.

· The Lead QA will, with the Head of Development, be responsible for strategic and innovative solutions with the ability to present and articulate technical executions clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders.

· As the Lead QA/Automation specialist you will have significant authority and autonomy to ensure service delivery and quality standards are maintained within the specialist innovative technical development management unit.

The ideal candidate for the Lead QA role will have the following experience:

· Substantial experience of creating and executing automated test strategies - both UI driven and coded as part of a CI pipeline

· Substantial experience of creating and executing manual test strategies

· Experience of working in an Agile environment

· Engaging with project stakeholders

· Experience of testing web-based applications and demonstrate examples of security testing

· Possesses advanced complex data management/manipulation skills, including detailed working experience of a mainstream development IDE.

· Also advises using advanced and highly-developed technical skills, within an operational IT, technical, or systems management function in a pro-active team-based environment.
