Job Title:
Junior Immigration Solicitor
NQ - 3 PQE
London or Croydon
£35,000 - £45,000
I am supporting a busy high street firm as they look to add to their immigration team due to growth and business demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and assistance to individuals and businesses on a wide range of immigration matters, including visas, sponsorships, asylum applications, family reunification, nationality, and deportation.
Advise businesses on compliance with immigration laws, including Tier 2 sponsor licenses, right to work checks, and corporate immigration issues.
Prepare and submit various types of immigration applications, including work visas (Tier 2, Tier 5), family visas, indefinite leave to remain (ILR), and entrepreneur or investor visas.
Draft legal documents such as application forms, letters of representation, and appeal submissions.
Assist clients in meeting immigration requirements related to business, including advising on the recruitment of foreign workers and visa processes for international employees.
Represent clients in immigration hearings and tribunals (subject to experience).
Build strong relationships with clients, providing clear, client-focused advice on their immigration options and strategies.
Work alongside senior solicitors to manage complex immigration cases and contribute to the team's success.
