A well-established local authority in London is seeking an FOI Lawyer to join their experienced and friendly team. This is a locum position for a minimum of 3 months, with a view to extend longer term.

Our client is seeking an experienced Lawyer (qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx) to come onboard to lead and advise on freedom of information (FOI) requests and miscellaneous GDPR matters.

This role sits within the Contracts team, so there is also scope to get involved in contractual matters should you have the relevant experience and if this is something that you are interested in, but this is not essential.

Full and part time hours will be considered. Hybrid working is preferred however they are also open to requests for remote working.

The successful Freedom of Information Lawyer will be joining a large, welcoming team and will be well supported in their role but expected to work with minimal supervision.

The local authority is seeking to fill this locum FOI Lawyer position as soon as possible, so applicants will ideally be able to start immediately or within a few weeks' notice.
