Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager (Capital) for our Local Authority client, they are looking for an individual with a specialism in providing Financial Support to large, fast moving projects.

The focus will be Transport projects, delivering these projects is critical and the successful candidate will have a real opportunity to make a difference.

Key responsibilities for the Finance Manager (Capital) are;

  • Supporting the Project Managers to develop forecasts to ensure the spend is deliverable
  • Managing the claim process so that grant claims are processed on time
  • Develop and support the Revenue and Capital Budgets
  • Knowledge of effective Budget Preparation and Monitoring
  • General Accounting principles understanding.

The Ideal candidate for the Finance Manager (Capital) will have;

  • Fully Qualified Accountant
  • Local Authority Capital Accounting experience
  • Transport Project experience
  • Stakeholder Management experience
  • Financial Systems and Excel experience.
