Location: South West
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager (Capital) for our Local Authority client, they are looking for an individual with a specialism in providing Financial Support to large, fast moving projects.
The focus will be Transport projects, delivering these projects is critical and the successful candidate will have a real opportunity to make a difference.
Key responsibilities for the Finance Manager (Capital) are;
- Supporting the Project Managers to develop forecasts to ensure the spend is deliverable
- Managing the claim process so that grant claims are processed on time
- Develop and support the Revenue and Capital Budgets
- Knowledge of effective Budget Preparation and Monitoring
- General Accounting principles understanding.
The Ideal candidate for the Finance Manager (Capital) will have;
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Local Authority Capital Accounting experience
- Transport Project experience
- Stakeholder Management experience
- Financial Systems and Excel experience.
