We are currently working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in London that is looking for a talented and experienced Employment Law Solicitor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced employment law professional to take their career to the next level within a dynamic and progressive workplace.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious, such as disciplinary actions, grievances, discrimination cases, redundancy procedures, TUPE transfers, and employment tribunal disputes.
  • Providing expert guidance to both employers and employees on matters related to employment rights, contracts, workplace policies, and managing potential risks.
  • Drafting, revising, and negotiating employment contracts, settlement agreements, and company HR policies.
  • Representing clients in employment tribunals and facilitating dispute resolution through mediation and negotiations.
  • Offering tailored, practical legal advice that meets clients' business objectives or individual needs.
  • Actively contributing to business growth by networking, cultivating client relationships, and supporting the firm's expansion.
  • Providing mentorship and supervision to junior team members as required.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in employment law and regulatory changes to provide clients with accurate, current legal advice.

The successful candidate:

  • 2-4 years PQE in Employment Law.
  • Experience in contentious and non-contentious work.
  • Excellent at building client relationships and explaining legal matters clearly.
  • Able to manage a diverse caseload independently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Business-minded with a proactive approach to development and growth.
  • Skilled in IT and experienced with case management systems.
  • Flexible, solution-oriented, and strong at problem-solving.
  • Solid understanding of employment law, with experience in tribunal claims, redundancies, TUPE, and discrimination cases.
