Title: Employment Solicitor

Our client, an award-winning law firm in Leeds City Centre, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading legal practice that is dedicated to providing high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service.

The team

The employment team provides clients across a range of sectors, including education, healthcare, sports and manufacturing, with both contentious and non-contentious advice. This includes matters such as TUPE matters, employment tribunal claims, senior executive contracts, dismissals and employment aspects of corporate transactions etc.

The role

  • Advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of employment law and other HR related matters including contracts of employment, service agreements, employee handbooks, internal policies and procedures, discipline and grievance, redundancy, restructuring, sickness absence, family friendly rights, equality and diversity, settlement agreements, trade union and collective issues and transfer or undertakings.
  • Drafting and advising on contracts of employment and HR policies and procedures.
  • Advising on employment status and types of working arrangements
  • Assist with the firms business development strategies
  • Build client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in employment law.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional client service.
