Court of Protection Solicitor

We are currently working with a Legal 500 and Chambers ranked firm in Reading that is looking for a talented and experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join their team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the team in handling high-value deputyships and private trust matters, always prioritising clients' needs.
• Draft and file different types of applications with the Court of Protection.
• Assist with property acquisitions and modifications to suit clients' requirements, collaborating with surveyors, architects, and other professionals.
• Oversee clients' financial plans and track investments.

The successful candidate:

• 2+ years PQE with a genuine interest in Court of Protection work.
• Compassionate approach to client care.
• Experience in Court of Protection matters, including Wills, deputyships, and trusts.
• Familiar with relevant legal processes and regulations.
• Handle workloads efficiently, even under pressure.
• Experience in Clinical Negligence or catastrophic claims is beneficial.
