Corporate Solicitor

Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with an award-winning, Legal 500 ranked firm in Leeds who are looking for a Corporate Solicitor to join their team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Help with company buyouts, mergers, and sales (M&A deals).

• Assist in handling cross-border business transactions.

• Work on projects involving raising money through capital markets.

• Support the team with buying and selling investments.

• Get involved in private equity deals.

• Take part in planning and setting up new company structures.

• Work closely with teams across different offices as part of the national corporate group.

The successful candidate:

• 1-3 years PQE.

• Strong character and able to communicate well with both clients and colleagues at all levels.

• Understands how businesses work and can give practical advice.

• Comfortable negotiating in person and in writing.

• Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in doing things right.

• Good at managing time and keeping documents organised.

• Confident using IT and legal software.
