Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in Leeds who are looking for a Construction Senior Associate to join their team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage complex construction litigation matters, including disputes related to contracts, delays, defects, and project financing.
  • Provide expert legal advice on construction law, dispute resolution strategies, and risk management.
  • Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, statements of claim, and defense submissions.
  • Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and experts to gather evidence, assess claims, and develop case strategies.
  • Manage and mentor junior lawyers, providing guidance on legal research, drafting, and case management.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.

The successful candidate:

  • 5 + Years PQE with construction litigation experience.
  • Confident in working with a range of clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Natural team player.
  • Be driven, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude
