Sellick Partnership is seeking a junior associate to join a firm in Oxford. This position will involve working in the Restructuring & Insolvency Team, which forms part of the wider Commercial Dispute Resolution team. This role will be a mix of contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency work.

The candidate will work in the Restructuring and Insolvency team, assisting more senior members of the team with a range of cases in terms of size and subject matter. The team has a varied and wide-ranging practice concerning both corporate entities and individuals.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have technical knowledge of and familiarity with contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring law
  • Have knowledge of Bankruptcy
  • Be comfortable working under pressure with the ability to prioritise work and deliver to changing deadlines whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Be a proactive and collaborative team member with a professional, user-focused approach
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to work well in partnership with lawyers and support staff, for the benefit of clients
