Sellick Partnership is working with a reputable local authority in London to find a Civil Litigation and Prosecutions Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis.

The Civil Litigation and Prosecutions role will last for a minimum of 3 months, but it is highly likely to be extended on a long-term rolling basis. The council is seeking someone who can work on a remote basis but attend court when required.

The Civil Litigation and Prosecutions Lawyer will be expected to have previous experience working for a local authority and will be required to handle a varied caseload of litigation matters including:

  • Possession
  • Anti-social Behaviour
  • Injunctions
  • Disrepair
  • Trading standards
  • Environmental protection
  • Food and Safety
  • Planning
  • Education
