Type: Temp 5-month Contract
Salary: £150 to £250 per day UMB
1 to 2 days a week onsite

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an Accountant for our Local Authority client.
The post holder will assist with year-end following the implementation of the new finance system part way through their financial year.
The Responsibilities of the Accountant will be;
- Support the Principal Accountant or Principal Capital Accountant in promoting best financial practices across the authority.
- Assist in preparing financial accounts for assigned directorates.
- Assist in preparing budgets for assigned directorates.
- Main duties will be month-end reconciliation, prepayments, accruals and managing the insurance claims.
The Ideal candidate for the Accountant will have;
- Part Qualified accountant.
- Local Authority finance experience.
- Experience in financial management and accounting practice.
- Staskeholder management.
