Senior Compliance Specialist

I have worked in the recruitment industry as an Administrator/Resourcing Consultant since 2002. Having gained valuable experience at several blue-chip organisation within the recruitment and HR, I decided to join Sellick Partnership in 2012 in the Legal division, as I was impressed by the companies reputation in the market and their commitment in ensuring they deliver the best service as possible to all of their stakeholders- an ethos that also aligns with my personal mission.
I initially joined the Legal division as a Candidate Co-Ordinator. My role largely focused on compliance, payroll and MSP audits. In May 2016, I started my new role as Group Compliance Co-Ordinator, supporting the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) framework for the supply of interim and contract staff into the public sector. My focus here is to manage the quality assurance and compliance policy for any public sector and not for profit clients who use the CCS framework.
Whilst the business has grown exceptionally since, we acquired our second public sector framework supplier, Health Trust Europe (H.T.E). Both frameworks run similarly and are aligned to the NHS&I Employers checks Work Force Alliance to ensure processes and audit checks are beyond its minimum requirements and to access the controls and adequacy of our compliances processes.
These frameworks give clients the ability to secure quality candidates whilst simultaneously reducing the risks for being non-compliant and offering cost effective rates.
In January 2022, I was promoted to a Senior Compliance Co-Ordinator. As a Senior Compliance Coordinator, not only do I ensure that our candidates are fully compliant when starting their new roles, but I also deliver training sessions to our new recruits on two of the Public Sector frameworks that we supply into.
I train our consultants in the first month of their journey with Sellick Partnership and give them the tools, knowledge and support that they require as they progress through the company.

I also support the business with many different projects relating to compliance and I am also a member of the ISO team for the business. Maintaining these standards for the business is key as it encompasses our core values, Passionate, Respected and Engaging.
In 2023, I won 'Central Services person of the year' Award at our annual End of Financial Year Awards. To which I am very proud to have received. My role is not just understanding compliance as whole, but it is also connected to the service we provide for everyone.
